Things Hunting Clubs Should Not Do
- Do not ever mow or otherwise damage planted pine!
- Blow-in seeded pine on road shoulders are ok to mow, just make sure they were not planted in rows.
- Do not create or re-create shooting lanes or food plots in fresh un-planted clear-cuts with out our permission!
- No stand location should be considered permanent.
- You may contact us at 936-829-6300, Recreational Lease Team, to schedule a meeting with local foresters to get approval and guidance on where you can place stands and create shooting lanes and food plots.
- Do not hire contractors for road repair without our permission!
- Minor repair with rubber tire tractors is ok with our permission.
- Use of track equipment must be pre-approved!!
- All gates that T into a road that log trucks will use must be offset 100’ and be 20’ wide.
- Two ten-foot farm gates work well.
- You must have a company lock and a club lock on the gate. You can request company locks from the Recreational Lease Team at 936-829-6300.
- Abandoned stands, feeders or temporarily relocated stands and feeders that were anchored with metal posts or t-posts must be removed during logging operations.
- They can cause serious and expensive damage to logging equipment. This cost could be passed on to your club.
- Observe all Burn Bans!
- Outdoor burning on your lease during a burn ban could result in cancellation of your lease.
- Do not nail or otherwise use metal fasteners in our pine trees to mount stands, steps, cameras or feeders.
